Rustic Country Wedding Style

When considering having a country themed wedding, some main decorations come into mind: Locally grown flowers, Mason Jars, barns, cowboy hats, hay bales and most importantly, trees, wood and the great outdoors.

Consider setting the ceremony in an outdoor location that sets the tone for the evening to come.  Unique seating on hay or straw bales, or giving each guest a cowboy hat can be a fun and unique extension to the normal ceremony. Don’t forget to add some cushions on top of the hay bales if you expect your guests to be seated for a while!

The reception space can provide a way to whimsically incorporate hay bales, mason jars, and fresh flowers into the table décor. Transforming a barn into a reception venue really drives the idea of country home.  Adding simple drapes and mason jar lights to a barn can turn it into a warm and welcoming venue for guests.

And finally, don’t forget about details. Little additions to decor, such as fresh wood and fruit, make you feel like you are outside in the fresh country air!
